Add-on Parks

Host Parks:

Friday and Saturday, June 16 & 17, 2017

Schlitterbahn has been voted America’s Best Waterpark again and again. As a showcase park for cutting-edge technology such as the Boogie Bahn, Master Blaster, Torrent River, Dragon’s
Revenge and The Falls, it is easy to see why this park is always winning awards. However, people who are not even waterpark fans fall in love with this waterpark with its amazing array of tube chutes (over 3 miles) all under huge shade trees and filled from the refreshing spring-fed Comal River. It truly redefines the term “one-of-a-kind.”

Convention attendees will have the opportunity to sample several first-of-their-kind attractions at
the birthplace of the uphill water coaster.

Following in the footsteps of a second Schlitterbahn in South Padre, Schlitterbahn Galveston Beach once again broke new ground when it opened as the world’s first “convertible” waterpark. A large indoor section is covered with a transclucent fabric roof that can be retracted during the summer months, opening up the indoor section to the out of doors.

In 2016, Schlitterbahn Galveston Island introduced Massiv, the world’s tallest water coaster. This record-breaking attraction took the water coaster to a whole new level, and garnered the Amusement Today Golden Ticket Award for Best New Ride in a Water Park and an IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best New Technology Applied to Amusements.

Perched alongside Galveston Bay, Kemah Boardwalk is a thriving entertainment district filled with restaurants, shops, rides, and...oh, yes...a compact wooden twister called Boardwalk Bullet. Impossibly squeezed onto less than one acre of land, this bucking bronco designed by The Gravity Group dives into itself with wild abandon again and again. Whether a short visit or the better part of a day, time spent at Kemah Boardwalk will be a thrilling addition to a great week of coastering.
